Any mage should download the Decursive addon for raids and instances. It allows you to single left click to decurse anyone within your raid/party or even right click those charmed to immediately sheep them (which is wonderful when your rogue starts whacking everyone...)
I personally just did 2 Kara runs with and without, and the difference was very significant. This add-on works wonderfully!
